Stippling puts foundation down in light taps, which keeps coverage sheer and lets your own skin show through. Switch to a sweeping motion and the same head buffs the product down until the edges vanish. You can start light across the whole face and go back for more only where you want it.

How to use
Put a few dots of base on the back of your hand rather than straight onto your face, pick some up with the tips, and tap it over the centre of your face first. Work outward, then blend in small circles wherever you want the coverage to disappear. Add a second layer only where you need it.
